Business Writing Class

So I get to take an advanced writing class that specializes in business writing. I am actually pretty excited, even though on a grammar pre-test I missed nine of the first ten questions. Evidently I'm not too stellar at grammar, something my father always says when he reviews my papers. As an assignment I am required to have a blog and write at least 150 words a week. I think this will be great. My older sister is great at blogging and over the summer her blogs kept me sane. I spent the summer working for a large company as an intern, and unfortunately they didn't have too much for me to do. I found it strange that they had a position that really felt like such a waste of time, but they paid me handsomely so who am I to object.
I sure am glad that school started again. Not that working isn't great, I actually really love to work hard. I love the feeling of putting in a hard days work and the feeling of accomplishment that so often accompanies such days. Unfortunately, this summer didn't have too many of those fulfilling days. School always seems to give me direction and help me grow as an individual. I really look forward to it, and think that this class will be great despite a rocky start.
